I like this leo a lot. The back is really pretty and it is quite flattering. The only problem I have is that it is really really low cut. I always have to tie knots in the straps to keep it up, but the straps hold knots well, so it works out for me. :-) Overall, it's a really nice leo and I would recommend it.

This is my absolute favorite leotard. I always get compliments on it and it has a great slimming effect. The only problems are that it doesn't wick away sweat and it can be a little revealing. Otherwise, it's a great purchase for anyone.

I have this leotard in both colors i love it so much! the blue is sooo pretty! It doesn't ride up, and it has pretty good support for me becouse i'm a double A, i'm a little over 5 foot and weigh about 88 pounds if that helps for sizing! ( i dont like mine really tight, just a little loose) Does not shrink as long as you don't dye it. I would really recomend buying this!

Nice twisted back. Fit well & flattering. Good support for _small chest. Probably not enough for B cups. The empire seam is too high. If I pull it down to below then the front becomes too low. That is the only gripe.

I saw a master instructor wearing it and asked her where she got it. She said DDS! Looks totally hot for a master class performance, but simple enough to wear it all the time. And the fabric is so soft. Totally comfortable.

This leo is great! Many girls at my studio have it and you don't have to pull it up in the front or down in the back very often. It hugs your waist and makes it look much smaller which is good if you don't have wide hips like I do. It still looks pretty good though.

This fit is perfect! I have worn it in two different sizes and it is slimming in both. It's so comfy and very simple. I'm five six and 118 pounds and I have worn both the small and the medium. The small is a bit tight, only B cup chest but it still works. I prefer the medium.

Beautiful back sooo flattering! I ordered it in an xs because the sizing chart said I would fit it perfectly! It was too small but still flattering! I ordered it in a s and its even better I love it. Nice fabric and I still have extra room! 2 thumbs up greatleo! I would order a size up to be safe tho!

I have this in black and it is great! I ADORE the back detailing and get compliments all the time when I wear it. My only issue is that I have a bigger chest (36C), and the line under the bust rides up and doesn't exactly fall where it should. It's not enough to keep me from wearing it though. I'm 5'10", 135 lbs and have it in medium- if I get another one I will get the large. But great leo.

This is the best leotard I've ever purchased! I'm 5'7 and thin, and the leo fits in all the right places. The front doesn't fall down or anything like that. It's a really flattering cut.

This is my all time favorite leotard! I'm about 5'4 and 100 pounds and the x-small fit perfect! I have the blue. It's a beautiful deep blue. The criss-cross in the back is gorgeous! It gives the leotard style and I usually find straps falling but these don't! Definitely get this.

I love this leotard! I especially love the design on the back but it also fits me perfectly in the front. I'm a little smaller (32B) and I don't have a problem of the shelf lining riding up. It isn't baggy at all either!

I just got this leotard in the mail today and love it. I am 5ft and weigh about 85lbs. I ordered a small (which is my normal size in Capezio) and found that I have a couple inches of room to grow in the girth, though it seems to flatter my shape well and is relatively comfortable. It fits me but for a busty individual which I am not (I wear an A), I would order a size up (just to be safe :D).

This is an amazing leotard! I received it for Christmas two years ago and it is still in perfect condition. It fits tight, which gives your hour glass figure a very flattering effect. The only thing I do not like is that the front is cut low, so you can not wear a regular bra underneath it with out parts showing. Other than that it's perfect for aspiring dancers!

This leotard is so pretty!
I absolutely love it. I'm the first one at my studio to have it, and it's one of my favorites! It's comfortable, the back is flattering, and it offers enough support for my chest (which is minuscule at a 34A). I'm 5'4, 100lbs, and a small. It fits great!
I recommend this to everyone, you wont regret it :)

I thought that this leotard was ok. It was comfortable and the back is really cute. The one thing bad about it was that it clings to every bump and imperfection. Overall I would recommend it because it isn't uncomfortable or distracting while I was dancing.

I really love this camisole leotard. It is not right for all body types, but for those who it flatters, it is very pretty, stylish and comfortable. I would recommend it and really love the empire bodice on it.

This leo is great. It's very pretty and flattering and looks nice on almost all dancers. In fact, over half my ballet class is wearing it because it looks so good! The only down side is that the straps are tight on square shoulders but other than that, it is really nice. I give it a 4.5.

This is a great leotard, very flattering and both colors look great. I'm usually a medium in leotards, 5'7 and 115 lbs, but the medium cuts a little low and the back cutouts have to stretch. But I also have a large and that one fits perfectly. I highly recommend this.

I have this leo in the blue, and the color is gorgeous. The fitting is another story. I'm 5'5 and about 125 pounds and the torso was not long enough. It's always falling down in the front. The bottom starts very low on me, so that I have to keep pulling it up so that my tights don't show in the back. I'm a 36C, and it's definitely not supportive at all, and the empire seam hits at the middle of my chest, which creates an awkward effect. It is slimming in some senses, just not the most comfortable.

This leotard is now the most flattering leo I own. The criss-cross straps on the back pull the leo tight in just the right places to make my waist look tiny. It's very slimming! Plus the front is high enough I don't have to worry about it slipping down at all. The sizing was dead on too. I'm 5'5" and about 125 and the small fits like it was made for me. The back straps are really pretty but not as flashy as some interesting backs, which is great for strict dress codes.

I got this leotard for auditions because it looked so pretty in the picture, but the blue color is actually more like a dusty navy. Also, I don't have the best back even though I'm pretty thin (5'1, 105 lbs) and the cut out parts in this leotard really doesn't flatter my back, it creates fat bulges in the cutouts. I'd only recommend this if your back is extremely toned, or maybe get a size up. Other than that, the size fit right, length was good too (but I'm really short,) and it's pretty comfortable. Maybe I can wear this better after working out some more...

I have this in Blue and it's good for ballet, but I don't wear it for jazz. The twist in the back is gorgeous, but if you have to lie on your back for anything (like crunches) it hurts! The color is a lot different from the picture - more of a steel blue color and the bust seam doesn't go under my chest like it should. Other than that it's very comfortable and washes well.

Wow, the best leotard I've ever had. I'm a girl with a small figure, top, middle, etc, but with a bigger bottom. This usually makes it awkward, making me look like a box in leotards that go straight up from the butt, but this followed my figure. I no longer want to wear clothes over, because I'm comfortable! BUY THIS! You'll love it!

For me, this leotard is great! It has such a beautiful pin-wheel back, and the leg line sits high on the hip, which I think is gorgeous! I have had this leotard for about a year now, and after many washings, it has still maintained a perfect shade of black. I haven't had any problems or concerns with my leo! :]

I really like the fabric of this leo. Although it doesn't absorb sweat like the cotton ones do, it is wonderful fabric and does not shrink. The only days I prefer not to wear this leo is ones where I will be laying on the floor on my back (as in modern classes) because the twist on the back hurts your spine so badly when laying on it. This is a great leo for ballet though where you're on your feet the whole time! It's beautiful!

I am in the Appalachian Ballet Company and we got this leotard as our company leo to wear to the 2008 SERBA festival. It is FABULOUS! It is very comfortable and moves very well. It also looks good on all body types. It hugs at your waist, making it look tiny! The back does come down a little low so if you wear your tights up high, they will show a bit but I think it looks cute like that. A great leotard for any dancer. A+++

This leotard is really comfortable, but the "under bust" seam is more like an on top of bust seam. I am a 34B and the seam comes up to the middle of my bust. If I pulled the seam down below the bust, the leo is very very low in the front. This would be a perfect leotard for someone with almost no chest. So if you have a large bust, you should not consider this leotard.

I recently got this leotard and I love it! The blue is really flattering and so is the pinwheel back. I'm 5'5" and 124 lbs and it fits great. I have a somewhat large chest and the leotard provided plenty of support and keeps everything tight, without being suffocating. Unfortunately, it shows bulges that you wouldn't normally see in another leo. But it is the best leo I own. Great buy!

L O V E this leotard! Not only is it unique, but I feel so confident in it. I actually didn't even have to pay anything for it-- it was a hand-me-down from a friend who didn't want it anymore. It is worth every penny, though, if you do buy it :-)

I tried it on in the store. It had a great fit and the back looked great, BUT you could see EVERYTHING. Even the tiny little bumps on your body you wouldn't normally notice, and you would probably want to wear something under it.

I bought this leotard in the large size (I'm 5'10" slender, but not super thin with a 36B/C chest) and it fit EXCEPT:
The lining was WAY too thin to wear the leo without something underneath, the empire seam came to the middle of my bust- not the bottom and when I did adjust it so the empire seam was where it should be, it was VERY low. Also, if you look carefully in the front view picture you can see slight bulges on the sides right below the empire seams. Unless you have that model's body and stand in that position, the bulges are a lot more noticeable. I'd say maybe if you're super thin with a smaller chest, this leo would work for you. It definitely doesn't work for me :( Too bad.

When I looked through the reviews for this leo, I was kind of disheartened because I really liked the leotard, but the reviews made it sound so bad. I love it though! It fits perfectly, is super flattering, and has really good coverage. I think the reviews are harsh and inaccurate. This leotard is great. I am about 5'5" and 105 lbs. and the small fits great!

I got this leotard a few days ago and I am sending it back. I am about 5'2" and 86 lbs, so I am fairly thin, and most leotards look good on me. However, I did not like this one. It looks excellent on the model, and the blue color looked beautiful so I decided to get it. I needed it for an audition so I ordered it in black and in a Small. It looked pretty in the package, but when I tried it on I had to admit that it was terrible. The leotard felt loose and it sagged in places, while pulling tight in others. The cutout back went really far on the sides. It wrinkled and bagged on the side where the cutout reached when I had my arms down. The neckline was also very low, and I couldn't bend over without exposing myself. And the cutout back, which is gorgeous in the photo, gave it the appearance of an ill-designed swimsuit. The cut was very unflattering, and it did not slim -- it thickened. However, it might work for someone with a different body type than mine. Still, I do not recommend this leo and I was disappointed as Capezio leos usually fit me great and I spent a lot of money. Buy a different leotard, and don't waste your money on this.

I love this leotard! It flatters the waist very nicely. I am a thin, flat chested dancer and whole heartedly agree that this leotard would not work well for busty dancers. I like the smooth fabric and I'm getting one in blue just because I liked the black so much!

I do agree, the blue isn't as brilliant as it looks in the pic, but it is still pretty. I am your typical thin, flat-chested dancer, and I wouldn't recommend it for the busty dancers. I did find the girth a little long for me, but I love the way it fit. And I received numerous compliments the first day I wore it and ever since. ABT leos do run on the tiny side, FYI.

I was disappointed when I got this leotard and tried it on. I am fairly busty for a dancer(C) and this leotard barely covered me, and that was standing still! The steel blue color is not nearly as dark as pictures show, but it is still a beautiful color. However, there is little lining inside which provides no support. Plus, do know that there is an empire seam that goes right over the bust. If you are small busted, it wouldn't look that bad, but anyone with a bust I would not reccomend this leotard. When I put it on, it barely covered half of my chest.

I don't like this leotard. I don't like giving bad reviews, but I think it's pretty bad. The color is much lighter than what it shows, it's a faded look, like a previous review said. There IS shelf lining, it is the same color as the leotard. The fabric (I think) is very unflattering. It shows every flaw, every lump, every bounce. It is see-through, and even if you were to sew extra shelf lining over the other lining, it would still show every bounce in the chest. I'm 5'3, 115 pounds and the medium is comfortable. I think it would be more flattering in black, but I wish I NEVER got this leotard in steel blue.

I do love the cut on this leotard, but as others have mentioned, there isn't much in the shelving of this garment. Also, the color is not as dark as it is in the picture. I was really hoping for a rich, deep blue, but it's more "faded" or pale. If you're buying it based on the color, get something else. If you like the cut, go for it. It truly is a nice cut.

I love this leotard! It is my favorite leotard and I wear it all the time. I get so many compliments and it is sooo flattering. The steel blue is gorgeous. It stays true to size, but the straps are a little bit long, and you might have to fix them (I did). If you have a long torso and a small chest, I would definitely recommend it. It is worth the money. Fabulous!

Overall, I am very happy with this leo. I'm 5'6", small-busted, rather long-torsoed, with a slightly larger-than-average bottom and hips. This leo fits perfectly! It's not too low in front but not so high that I feel like I'm wearing a turtleneck. My only complaint is that there is no lining. I suspect they thought the fabric would do that job, but unfortunately, and as per usual for me, it does not. Otherwise, this leo is so flattering!

I do not like this leotard. It has no lining except for a tiny part at the top, therefore it was see-through. It says it has self lining but it does NOT and has NO SUPPORT at all. Also the back straps come together at the side seams and do cause bulging of skin, even if you are NOT fat. The only things that I did like is the straps were the perfect length and the leo was pretty and had a nice fabric. But unless you want no support, a see-through leo, and bulges— Do not get this leotard!

I agree-- this is a very flattering leotard! I'm about 5'6" and have wider shoulders and a long torso, so I'm always trying to look for leotards that don't make me look huge. The only thing I was really disappointed with was the Steel blue color. It was pretty, but I expected it to be a lot darker. Instead, it looked the same shade as another leotard I have in Mirella's "Prussian Blue". I should have bought it in black, it would be a good auditioning leotard.

This leo is truly flattering. Especially, the cut of the back is gorgeous. The support of front might not be good enough for someone who has a full-bust (for me, 32B, it is perfect). Otherwise, it is great.

Watch out for the straps

The blue steel color and material are gorgeous, feels great. But beware of the back straps! They connect to the front right at the side seams and cause "bulge" even if you are NOT fat. You can't see this in the photo since it only shows up in the front view. Too bad, I'm returning it.

If you're any bit on the curvy side, this leo will make your waist look smaller, which is always great. Also I found it to be very supportive and I'm a 34B. It's very comfy as well.

Ok, I absolutly love this leo. Straps don't fall off, comfy, moisture wicking material, nice leg line, beautiful back! The one and only problem is that I'm a 36B and support wasn't the greatest. I have to wear a sports bra, and it ruins the back!!! I'm pretty sad, but hopefully I'll find a way to make it work.

I love this leotard because the material is soft and comfortable and because it is really flattering! I have a small waist with bigger hips and it really makes me look smaller! Absolutely perfect for auditions! The back makes you look so elegant! If you are considering buying this leotard, BUY IT! It's perfect!

I bought this leotard in the steel blue (an awesome hue, it's quite beautiful). I have an athletic build of 5'6" or so, with a B cup, long-ish torso, average length legs, and an hourglass shape with big-ish butt/hips/thighs. This leotard fits PERFECTLY. I am VERY impressed with all of Capezio's ABT leotards, because they all seem to fit perfectly when I order a medium. The leo doesn't ride up in the back, and it's very flattering in the back. The underseam in the front is in just the right spot for enough support. The ABT logo is actually on the left hip in the front, and the shelf lining is sewed to the leotard at the underseam, which is nice, because it doesn't fold up or make creases. The straps aren't too tight, and the twisted back is not constricting in the least. I wouldn't recommend doing Pilates or Yoga in this leo though, because the twist does press into your back if you lay on the floor. All in all, this leotard is yet another example of how Capezio's ABT leotards have never failed me yet! I definitely recommend this leotard.

This leo is beautiful (duh) and I love it except for two pesky seams where the straps are attached in the back. They rub really bad against my back. So I don't recommend this leo for extended wear, but it's fine for a few hours.

I bought this about 6 months ago and love it! It fits me great. I'm a B cup, with an hourglass shape and a long torso(I got a size M) I love it on me! I tend to pull on the sides just 'cause I get bored : ) so it gets a little baggy there. LOL - but washes up just fine!

I really like this leotard. The fabric doesn't breathe as well as cotton, but because the back is exposed, it doesn't bother me too much. The twist in the middle of the straps can sometimes press enough just to bug me, but after a 2- hour class, I didn't feel uncomfortable from short straps or itchy seams.
The only real issue is the way the legs are cut and the back is formed. It's a beautiful back--not ostentatious at all, but the way it is cut (the angle) can make the hips look manly, and that may bother some. For me, as long as I can wear it without dehydrating because of the fabric, and it fits well, I'm fine.
I ordered medium and am 5'5" with a longer than average torso, and it fits quite well.

I got this leo because I was looking for a new fun one. Well the first day I wore it, about every person in my class said they loved it! The back looks great! I wouldn't say it's extremely slimming, but it still looks great (however, I'm very sensitive on my figure). I would recommend this leo if you want a very different and fun look!

This is my favorite leotard. It has a nice line without having millions of straps or too many colors. I have a small butt, so the seam underneath is fine. The leg openings are great and stay put. Also, they are nice because they are not up too high or too low. I have long legs, and I feel real awkward with high leg openings. BUY IT!

I have this leo in steel blue and it is AMAZING! It has an extremely comfortable fabric. It wouldn't work for a larger chest because the seam below the bust is high up. Other than that, it is beautiful and I am planning to get it in black, too!

I just got this leotard and love it. The back has such a beautiful design. I got it in steel blue because I was sick of just black all the time. It's a really different color of blue, but it's really pretty. I think this is a must for all dancers : ]

I have this leotard in black and I find it very slimming and flattering on my 5'3" figure. The only problem I have found with it, is that the fabric of the leotard can be very slippery on tights, causing it to ride up. Other than that, beautiful!

This leotard is so comfortable! I'm a curvy 5'5" and this leotard is extremely flattering and slimming. The only thing I don't particularly like about it is that the front doesn't have much support and slides down a little bit - other than that, it's fantastic!
