Rip and runs all over

I am a professional dancer and have tights that have lasted me years. I bought 2 brand new pairs of the hold and stretch and within 3 hours had holes and runs in both. I intentionally buy them a size larger to prevent this. Just putting my hands on them to pull them up, my thumb broke through. Bloch tights however have lasted me years!

Too Tight, EVEN ONE SIZE UP!

Although I bought these for only one number in my recital, I have come to a conclusion that they stink!!!
They DO NOT stretch. I don't care what anybody says, they have no give whatsoever. I knew this, so I ordered a size larger from an Adult Small, my usual size. Those were wayyy too small and the stirrups pressed so hard into my foot. The worst part is, they don't even give when you have them on. I'd order 2 sizes up, if I were you.

Hold? yes. Stretch? nope

I'm not a big person, nor one of those dancers with large muscles. But these are so constricting anyway. The only thing that's comfortable about them is the waistband. The stirrups are painful unless you rip them a bit, and the material is stiff and suffocating once you sweat in them. Awful product. Save your money.

This will be my third pair in one dance season. My daughter is about 5'6, but each pair is run as soon as she put them on. We are encouraging her dance instructor to switch tights. I am paying too much money to use them only once.

Try the ultra soft instead

I ordered the 145's for about 10 families from our studio. At the first competition, 7 or 8 girls had a problem with the tights - either they came out of the package with a hole in the crotch or they got a hole immediately after putting them on. We couldn't believe it. We thought it must have been a problem with a particular "lot" but after reading other reviews - it seems not.

As my daughter was putting on these tights for her dance pictures, it ran. I now have to pay $17.00 for a new pair.

Way too short

I am 13, 5'2" and the small is way too short. I wear a small or S/M in all other tights though. The crotch hangs way below unless I am constantly pulling it up. Not the best. Plus, they are weird material. I would recommend ultra soft.

Hold, no stretch

These tights don't stretch very well. I bought a size up just to be safe, but they are still too short for my legs (and I'm only 5'1"). So the stirrups pull on my arch and it kind of hurts. I don't like these tights at all.
Though i did try hang-drying them with weights on the bottoms to stretch them out, and it worked a little bit.

Look elsewhere

I've worn worse, but these aren't worth the money unless you're 5'0" or less and very thin to boot. I normally wear an A/B in tights, but I'm glad I bought a L in these, after all I'd heard (which is confirmed in the reviews here), they're still more constricting, but they at least fit. I had to stretch out the stirrup foot by hand to stop it from leaving uncomfortable creases on the bottoms of my feet. This had made them bearable, but in all honesty I only wear them when I haven't washed my other more comfortable tights.

Weird sizing

I have these tights in a small and I definitely needed a medium or a large, even though 'small' is where I hit on the size chart. They're very, very short - and I'm 5'2" saying this, so you know I'm not kidding! I found them very shiny and see through (unflattering on the thighs!) and the waistband was too short and too tight (gives a fleshy line in the hips!). Overall I think these tights could be good, but my size is probably just not right at all.

I love the way they make you suck it in. I love the tightness... wear them over your leo and they help you feel pulled up and in. I notice a huge difference.

After reading the other reviews, I figure these tights are great for short people. At 4'10" and 104 lbs., I wear a small and these are the only tights I've found that give my legs support and don't bunch around my ankles like an old lady (no offense to old ladies). I highly recommend them for those of less than average height.

ORDER A BIGGER SIZE!!!

I have these tights, but I had to buy a size large in them, once I realized how constricting they were & short on my body. They are durable, but I wear an XS in my street clothes & am in a large in these tights. Order a larger size if you buy them & you'll be set, unless you are very tall or muscular, in which case I can't imagine them fitting.

Way too tight

I like how big the stirrup is on the tights, but they are way toooo tight and they never stretch out. I am not that big of a person. I wear a size four and I consistently get mediums in tights and smalls in leotards. But I get the XL in these tights and they are still way too tight.

These tights look really good on stage and such, but I thought they were very tight. In other tights, I am consistently an adult small, but the smalls in this brand were really small. They were very tight and proved hard to stretch up to cover my legs fully.

Maybe I just like my tights not tight, but I felt the size chart was waaay off. I weigh 117 and am 5'5", a high end medium right? Well, I got the L, and they just felt tooo tight. Maybe my legs are just longer, but I was contantly stretching them to get them to reach my (pardon the expression) crotch. That's why I have to get new ones because they ran. So, now I'm up to XL, don't I feel great!

Durable but constricting

These tights will last you forever, and won't stretch out much. Unfortunately, I wished mine did stretch out a bit as the stirrup part felt too tight (and I'm not a big person, nor do I have a full profile foot either).
