Great tight but run small.

By reading the review before made an order, I ordered a size up. They were right. These tights run small. I'm 5'5 and 115 pounds. I got a large, fit me perfectly. Very good support and semi opaque. Great buy!

Best for the Price

I am the Costume Director of a professional theatre company, and we use these tights almost exclusively. They are durable, long wearing, and the light suntan color blends well with many skin tones. As a note however, they do run small, so think about ordering a size or two up, especially if you have long legs. Many of my tall dancers who normally wear a L, prefer XXL for comfort.

These tights feel nice during the first wear, but once they are stretched, they don't feel as comfortable. Also, after I washed them, they stayed in the stretched state and lost its elasticity.

I luv these tights! I am 13 with long lanky legs. I have had many tights over my dance years that have shrunk and torn but these tights don't fit me. They stayed in great condition, oh and they didn't fade ether! I also love the soft material. It is very stretchy when it comes to stretching your legs a lot! This is a great quality tight and amazing price! I would totally recommend these tights!

Long time wearer

I began wearing these when I began performing back in the 1980s. I have yet to find a superior "holding" pair of tights anywhere! The Suntan is also a perfect match for nude Capezio character/tap shoes - another bonus. I order these in bulk and wear them under pants all winter. It covers those flaws and keeps the legs looking terrific!

Do not buy!

These are the most uncomfortable tights ever-- do not buy these! They last a while but aren't worth it because they are just so uncomfortable. My dance studio is required to wear them for recital, competitions, and rehearsals. I hate wearing these!

Run a little small

I wish I went up a size because they don't fit so well as far as the length. I am 5'7" but I have more of a long torso than long legs. However, I'm sure they will stretch out more and they are durable, so they do their job.

These tights are great. They don't run easily like most tights so they last much longer. The light suntan is the perfect color too.

I love these. My dance studio requires everybody to buy these in suntan for tap and jazz performances, and I'm happy about it. They are so comfortable. I have been using them since I started ballet at age five, and I'm thirteen now. Very easy to move in. Also, Capezio has the most accurate sizing chart of any I've ever used. I am about 5'5" and 120 pounds, medium fits me perfectly.

Love these tights! No, they don't feel soft and furry, but they do hold everything in place nicely. I'm very paranoid about the size of my legs, and these seem to help a bit. Also, the Ballet Pink actually doesn't make my dark skin look ashy.

Long lasting but not soft

These were my first pair of tights when I started dancing. I liked them a lot at the time because they never got runs. But then I tried a different pair and found these to be very rough in comparison. I don't think I'd buy them again because of it. The european pink is also very peachy, so I'd stick with ballet pink. These are definitely good if you don't have sensitive skin and need some tights that will outlast everything.

After 20+ years, still Quality!

I was at the re-sale store the other day and I looked casually on the nylon shelf and saw these. They are the most exquisite colour, Dusty Mauve, and they were wrapped in the original pacakging of what looks like early 80's/late 70's. I was excited to wear them, to see if they still would work after being packaged up for sooooo long. And they were amazing! After trying them on, I was curious as to them still being around and I type it in, and they were. Sadly, the beautiful colour(which looks like a light lavender-pink) no longer is available. Now I know at least to hold on to 'em.

As a guy, it's sometimes hard to find the right tights. But these are the best. They keep everything in and I still get to show off my best attributes. When I am dancing, they make my body feel great, and I feel like I am sometimes flying in these. With the right leotard for me, these tights are definitely the best!

I swear by these tights!

I have been wearing these for as long as I remember. I can't remember getting holes in them - they are virtually indestructible, and for me that is a very, very good thing. Our mats have Velcro on the edges, and these tights do not rip even after making contact with the Velcro. I once wore the "Ultra-Soft" tights which ripped in no time. These tights aren't as comfortable as some other tights, but they don't bother my because I'm used to them.

I have been wearing these forever

I discovered them in my teens for dance and now at the age of 40, I am still wearing them for class, but also for everyday. They make your legs look amazing and they suck everything in (ladies - no girdle required under a tight pencil skirt when you wear these - trust me...). The fabric is not as soft and 'pretty' as some of the more fashionable tights, but these are the ones I always go back to. One flaw, as noted, they often rip on the seam or in the heel by the second wearing. I don't remember that being the case years ago.

Holes on the first wearing!

I'm giving them a 3 because they looked great and I liked them otherwise. But they got a hole in the seam along the gusset the first time I put them on.

I love these tights. They stretch very nicely and fit well around your body. They are very comfortable unlike many other tights.

Great tights, color swatches misleading

These tights are awesome for hiding any leg imperfections -- with the right color, they look like skin, only perfect! From the color swatches, I ordered "Nude" first, but it is WAY too light and ashy -- even on my very fair-skinned friend they looked ashy and grey. I recommend the "light suntan" -- it works for my friends who are very light as well as for me who is light-skinned but with a tan.

Excellent tights, even in every day use. Waistband is good and with coolmax gusset
you don't need to wear at all. Your legs look really good because of the smooth material.
