fit and sizing compared to ballet slipper

We have ballet slippers and lace-up tap shoes by Theatricals. Neither of her current shoes are her street size, so I am trying to match her fit in this shoe to one or the other style. Is this jazz boot closer to a ballet fit or more like a tap shoe? Thank you.

We always suggest that you go with the fitting guide suggested by DDS. However, if it has proven to fit you differently in the past then we advise to use your best judgement. We would say that a jazz shoe would have a closer fit to a ballet shoe as they are both a similar fit, softer material. Please refer to the fitting guide for other sizing instructions.
