PURCHASED FOR MY 7 MONTH OLD FOR HER FIRST PAGEANT

I purchased these slippers to match my daughter's pageant dress. They match perfectly! However, I do agree with the reviews online that state that this brand runs very small. I would say the size XS would realistically fit a newborn. My daughter wears a size 3.5 and I ordered the medium. She has about an inch and a half of room in the toe ( which is fine, because I'm hoping she can wear them more than once), but they are pretty tight width wise. The strap itself is not tight, just the area above it. If the middle of your child's foot is wider than 5.5 inches the M size will be too tight. I think we'll get a few uses out of these. They're super cute! Hope my review helps anyone looking for sizing help :)

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THESE FOR BALLET CLASS

These are not proper dance attire for ballet class. If you want cute little ballet slippers for your child to wear in the house, then these are perfect. :)

    NT SUITABLE FOR DANCE CLASS

These are cute house slippers and not suitable for dance class! As a studio owner, I do not allow students to wear this type of shoe. They are not form fitting and slick, making them unsafe in a studio environment.

    WRONG CHOICE FOR DANCE CLASS

As an instructor of dance for 49 years, I would not allow these shoes in class. because of how they are constructed, they will pull and bulge and look sloppy on the foot. they are also apt to roll causing a dancer to fall. They do not form to the foot and the dance teacher will not know how the child his holding their feet.

    NT ACCEPTABLE FOR BALLET CLASS

These shoes are not proper ballet shoes. I would never let any student wear these in class. These belong in the bedroom slipper aisle at a department store, not in a dance studio.

    NT REAL BALLET SHOES

While these are really cute, they would not be allowed in any ballet school for classes. We would send the parent back for actual ballet shoes and not let the student wear them in class. Be sure to check with your child's teacher before you purchase. (Ballet teacher for 28 years)

NOT FOR BALLET CLASS - THESE ARE DRESS UP

As a teacher and dance studio owner, I will be telling any of my students who purchase these to return them and buy real ballet slippers. They are cute and great for dress-up, but are not appropriate for an actual ballet class. Younger students (including toddlers) should purchase a snug-fitting leather or canvas ballet slipper with a full leather bottom to support their foot. This satin slipper will deteriorate quickly and does not offer any sort of support for the foot because it will be so loose. I agree with the reviewer who used them for a key chain - that is a great use for them. Anything but for actual dance class!

    MAKES A GREAT KEYCHAIN!

I'm 13 so obviously i didn't order these to wear them. I'm just going to quickly say if you are planning on buying these to wear them, don't. They were really flimsy and thin, so you could do better. Anyway, I actually made them in to a keychain! I ordered the X-Small and they were the perfect size for a large keychain. I thought they were really cute looking when I saw them, so now I have one keychain on my keys and the other on my dance bag!

RUNS VERY SMALL, LOOKS DINGY VERY QUICKL

My two year old wears a size 7, but she outgrew her size Mediums when she was still in a size 5. She only got a month of wear out of them, and they didn't take long to stop looking nice. For $8, I would consider buying them again, the customer service was great, the shoes are adorable. But the sizing errors on this page are pretty unforgivable.

I’m not sure if it he sizing is based on ageshoe size. Please help.

The pink slippers is what I need to order. Does Medium mean for age 7shoe size

Medium fits approximately a child size 7 shoe. This is not based on the age of the child.

What size Little Princess Satin Slipper should I purchase for each child?

For the youngest, I would recommend a size S, and for the oldest I would recommend a size L. We have had feedback that this shoe runs a bit on the small side.

    Why is DD selling these?

    They are NOT ballet shoes.

These shoes are not meant for dance. They are sold as a novelty, along with accessories and clothing that we sell on our website.
