GREAT FOR A LITTLE EXTRA LIFE

I've used this for my pointe shoes many times. Usually I use it before a performance when I don't have time to get new shoes and break them in, but mine are soft. The glue holds up pretty well. It won't make the shoe like new, but it's certainly better than a dead pointe shoe!! It's a good temporary fix and can help lengthen the life of your pointe shoe, especially if you have a tendency to kill your boxes. However, it's best not to use on the shank. If used on the shank it can become very uncomfortable. Also use it on the inside only. It will change the color if you use it on the outside.

    AMAZING!

I've been through many bottles of this, and I love it! If you leave it in your fridge standing up it will last forever..... It doubled the life of my pointe shoes!

    DRIES REALLY FAST...ANYWHERE!

This glue worked fine, it is a typical fast-drying hobby cyanoacrylate. At first use, I re-hardened the boxes of six pair of pointe shoes. I used approximately half a bottle. I recapped it tightly and placed it upright within a heavy zip-lock baggie. Needing it three months later, I found all the glue had dried, rock-solid, inside the bottle! If you still decide this is the glue for you, it may be wise to buy the smaller bottle and use it all, first-go.

    BEST STUFF

I've been dancing for 12 years and this is the best stuff I have ever used on my pointe shoes. It easily doubles the life of my shoes and is cheaper than jetglue. If your caps are gluing shut, cut off less of the tip and keep the bottle standing up when you aren't using it. I cut off just enough so the glue drips and have never had a problem "breaking the seal" if glue gets in the cap. I actually think it is good when this happens because the cap stays shut!!! I once had a disaster when a jetglue bottle popped open in my bag and ruined everything.
