    WHAT HAPPENED TO THESE?

My daughter loves these. They are seamless, and a bit thicker the fabric covered ones. They are odor resistant. Her first two pair lasted About 1-2 years. However, the most recent pair was purchased in October and had holes by December. Hoping that was a fluke.

    THE BEST

These are the best toe pads. They can be pulled and stretched to cover the bunion area. The purple ones are thinner, and the pink are thicker.

DURABLE AND FITS ALL EXCEPT OVER SIZE 9 IN WOMEN'S STREET SHOE

Fairly good for beginning pointe especially for dancers who might still be growing, since this pad takes up more room in the shoe than a cloth-covered pouch type of pad. This pad can be sprinkled with baby powder. Some dancers wear against bare skin in a convertible tight. Others wear over the tights but usually still use baby powder to absorb perspiration. These do not rip easily and are more durable than most. For a polymer gel pad, this seems to be one of the least expensive. Some polymer gel pads can be too small for larger teen or adult feet. These fit most. Girls under age 12 might still grow, so if the shoe is fit with this pad, the dancer can likely wear the shoe a little longer and use a thinner pad later in the dance year.

I actually ordered these toe pads for fencing. I found my feet sliding forward in my shoes especially in lunges and putting a lot of pressure on my big toe. I'd used the bunheads silicon big toe covers before, but they ripped pretty quickly. I have danced for most of my life (23 of my 27 years) and taught pointe at my studio. I decided to try some dancewear solutions to my fencing problems. These toe pads had a great amount of padding for my feet. I have a very long big toe and pointe is really painful for me, but I decided to try these in my pointe shoes and couldn't believe the difference. I wish I'd been using these the whole time. They do run somewhat long (but fit in my pointe shoes just fine), and while the tip is rounded, these may not work as well for some foot shapes and sizes - like very square toe lines and narrow, small feet. I wear an 8.5 street shoe and like I said, I have a super long big toe. I do wish they had some breathability, but they are exactly as described, so I knew what I was getting. At least they are easily washed off and a little talcum powder will keep them fresh. Overall, I love these. I'm going to order more for myself so I can have some in my dance bag and some in my fencing bag, and everyone in the fencing club has seen them and started ordering them! I wear these 3-4 days a week for about 2 hours per day, and for competitions on the weekends for 8-10 hours a day. Haven't seen any wear or tearing yet in the 3 months I've used them.

I purchased these gel toe pads when returning to pointe work after a 4 year hiatus and I am incredibly disappointed in this product. The pads are not what I pictured at all. I was expecting a typical gel pointe pad, which is thin and made of cloth surrounding the gel. This product is very thick, and it's just gel (with no cloth). Not only is it difficult to get your toes in a comfortable position in the pad (as they stick together and it's difficult to keep them from being on top of each other), you can't feel where you are in your shoes while en releve. I'm pretty confident in my pointe work, even after taking a long break from it, and wearing these toe pads made me terrified to releve at all. This is dangerous for experienced dancers and especially for those who are new to pointe. I would not recommend this product.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience with these toe pads. We will address the issue with the manufacturer and make them aware of this issue. One of our Customer Service representatives will contact you shortly to rectify the situation.

    BEST TOE PADS!

I love these toe pads so much! The first time I wore them, I didn't feel any pain. I am extremely prone to blisters and foot pain in general, but these have made all the difference. Just as a side note, they feel really awkward the first time you put them on before you put on your shoes, but once you start dancing they feel just fine!. I have worn ouch pouches and gellows in the past, but these are the best by far.

    COMFORTABLE AND DURABLE

I wore my first pair of these for about 5 years and loved them! They didn't sweat or rip, and the design is genius. They are very thin along the edges, so you are not dancing on a ridge, and have more padding along the tips and sides of your toes where you need it most. They are cushier than any other toe pad I've tried while still being very durable. I recently had to replace my old pair, because after 5 years they finally got rips in the toes. The new ones sweat more than my old ones, but I still prefer them to the other brands I've tried. I have narrow feet and tapered toes, so these really save my big toes!

    SOFT AND CUSHY

These toe pads provide good cushion for someone that doesn't do pointe very often and may not have the best arches. I am 25 years old and have found that pointe work has become more difficult for my feet over the years; these toe pads have been my saving grace. The only criticism I have of them is that the sides don't come up as far as I would like, however I appreciate that the toe is thicker than the sides, so my foot doesn't have to squeeze even more into the shoe. I would definitely buy these again.

    BEST TOE PADS EVER!

I have been using these toe pads for 3 years now, and they are the most comfortable pads I've ever used...and I've tried them all! I have very wide and boxy feet with square, even-length toes and while I have to stretch the sides down when putting them on because of my wide toe configuration, they stay in place and provide maximum cushioning for heavier dancers(130lbs and up) or for dancers who just like the extra cushioning. Just dust them with talcum powder after every couple of uses and they will last forever. I've been wearing the same pair for 3 years!

Is there a difference between colors thickness wise?

No, both colors are the same thickness.

Does the pad make the shoe fit more snuggly? Do I have to size up in the pointe shoe?

Adding a pad to a pointe shoe could effect the fit. We cannot give an exact suggestion for sizing but when fitted for pointe shoes we recommend wearing the toe pads you intend to use.

What is the thickness on the toe part?

I like a thick gel toe pad, and I was wondering how thick this is. Some toe pads are super thin and don't do much. What are these like?

The thickest part of the toe pad measures approximately 1/4 of an inch.
