Dynamic Box Liners: Amazingly effective! A breakthrough in pointe shoe fit and comfort - so revolutionary it's patented! Hugs forefoot around sides and top to make box narrower and prevent painful sliding. Compresses to allow foot expansion in jumping. Expands to hold foot up and in place en pointe. No comparison to lambs wool, latex foam, or flo pads.
Blue Gel Oval Cushion: Takes pressure off the big toe.
Blue Gel Crescents: For longer second toes! Create a protective pocket for a longer second toe. Option: Add smaller crescents with peel-and-stick backing to larger crescents for extra customized comfort.
Mushrooms: Protects and cushions big toe and toenail.

Note on materials: Gaynor Minden blue gel is extra-dense to approximate the firmness of your toe tips. Other cushions are all made from REAL Rogers Corp. Poron 4000 urethane foam, not wanna-be latex or EVA. Genuine Poron has the American Podiatric Association Seal of Acceptance.

    GEL HAS NO STICK

The blue gel cushions and crescents had no sticky adhesive under the peel-off covers. The plastic peel-off covers basically fell off when handled. They would not stick. I tried to use a couple other types of adhesive, but they would not adhere to the gel. So these were, unfortunately, useless.

These are the WORST. I've tried the box liner and the blue crescent and in the store, they felt like a dream. In class, the "adhesive" was useless and they kept moving around and bunching at the bottom! It became very painful and I had to sit down and readjust them every 15 minutes. I eventually just took them out and went padless!! Definitely not worth the headache!

    MIXED FEELINGS

bought these to help my big toe pain in my gaynors....the liners did help me from sinking in the box as much as I was with out them, but they DO NOT stay in place...so every time you put on your shoes you must readjust...and I found they also shift during dancing...I am not yet sure I like them enough to glue somehow to the inside of the shoe,,,,As for the other pads, they were useless...I bought the large size and it was still too small...and none of them stuck at all....EVER. they just moved all around while dancing....I ended up using the liners, and lambswool...and if its a long day of dancing I use the liners and gel pads, as my toes are still getting bruised. I would probably not buy again as they really didn't solve my problem,

GREAT KIT FOR TAPERED TOES & HEELS

I have Greek toes and Egyptian feet...very short tapered toes, extremely narrow heels, one foot with longer second toe and the other with scar tissue from surgery. Fitting my feet for ANY dance shoes is a mess, but especially for pointe. This kit has saved me...the horseshoe pad is particularly useful for relieving my long second toe. Highly customizable and comfortable!

    N MORE BULKY PADS!

Yes...I said it. I don't have to wear ouch pouches/gellows while I'm on pointe. I have a wide foot at the metatarsals, but my toes are Greek, long, and highly compressible. I found the shoe of my dreams with Gaynor mindens, because of the versatility of being able to pick your box, vamp, shank, and now even heel height. But I was still sinking into the box and putting pressure on my big toe and crunching my first toe because of it being longer than my big toe. Problems all solved, I popped in the dynamic box liner, cool blue crescent, and the mushroom pad for extra padding for my big toe nail, and it's like I'm dancing on a cloud....plus, it's pretty impressive when I just put my shoes on while everyone else is padding their toes with all kinds of bulk! Thanks for making this 30 year old girls dream of being en pointe easier!!!

IF ONLY THE BLUE PADS WERE STICKIER

The blue pads just don't stick, but are very comfortable. Small warning: They can result in the need for a larger shoe. The box liners are pretty nice. I feel a slight bit of support with them I have a hard time getting otherwise (wide metatarsals, extremely tapered ties). I didn't use the mushroom ones. While I prefer the Ouch Pouches by Bunheads, this kit is a solid alternative for those who feel the Ouch Pouches are too thick.

    WONDERFUL!

I buy this kit solely for the crescent shaped pads. As someone with a longer second toe, these perfectly alleviate any unwanted pressure, by equally distributing it. No other pads are needed.

    MADE MY SHOES PERFECT

For a long time, I've been trying to wear Gaynor Minden shoes for their unsurpassed comfort. Truth is, I don't fit Gaynor minden shoes. My feet are way too wide. So here's the deal. I love Grishko Elites for their otherwise compassion towards those with horizontally challenged feet. But my feet are tapered. So, let's put Gaynor Minden and Grishko together for a bang. I used these Gaynor Minden Totally Toes fitting kit in my Grishko Elites in this way - 1) Dynamic Box liners because my feet are too tapered for the shoe. This stopped my foot from slipping down the box and jamming my big toe into the floor. 2) Since there was still big toe pain (I have problems with my left big toe, don't know why, wish I did) I added the mushroom padding at the very bottom of both shoes (to make sure my heights were equal) and on top of that added the cool blue gel ovals under just my big toes. Now I can wear a pointe shoe. I'm so happy - after say .. 8 years of trying to find a pointe shoe, I made it work. Thanks Gaynor, thanks Grishko.

    LOVE THIS KIT!!

I LOVE this kit so much. It is so, so comfortable, yet takes up much less space than other toe pads. I find these to be just as comfortable as ouch pouches but I can feel the floor beautifully! My only concern is that the largest kit they sold was just a wee small for my 4x Bloch Balance Europeans - I have to shift it over because my pinky toe is exposed to the box. I used to use the Pillows for Pointe gel pointe shoe cushions, and just them because I was sick of feeling swallowed in toe pads. It worked but I got a lot of pain from rubbing against the box before some callouses formed. But with the new dance season, my callouses were disappearing and I didn't feel like going through the callous building process again xD So I tried this kit. The box liner is just amazing. It's crazy how such a scrawny little thing can provide so much relief. The blue gel ovals are great too, pretty much the same thing as the Pillows for Pointe cushions. I wear those pieces with Bunheads big tips. There is 1 thing that is annoying, though - getting fitted for new pointe shoes! It's so hard to get the little thingers in and out especially when you're trying loads of different pairs.

    AMAZING BOXLINERS

These boxliners are genius. I always had horrible pain in my big toe because of my tapered toes and no matter how tapered or narrow the shoe, nothing worked. Now I don't have to buy shoes too narrow to avoid that. These make the shoe fit without adding more padding. The boxliners are NOT padding, they just make the shoe accommodate the bit of compression when you go en pointe while still fitting on flat. The little oval pads work well too. I superglued mine in place so they wouldn't slide around anymore. Problem solved!

    REALLY HELPFUL

I have really thin feet and as my pointe shoes break in, the box frequently becomes too wide. This kit (mostly the liners) helps me not to sink in and have really saved my toenails a lot of unnecessary pain.

    Sizing for non-GM shoes

How does the sizing compare to non-Gaynor Minden Shoes? I wear a size 5XXX in Grishko 2007's, what size should I get? I'm primarily asking about the box liners, as I don't need the rest of the padding.

We suggest you following the fitting guide for a Gaynor Minden shoe using your regular street shoe size. Once you determine the shoe size you can select the corresponding Fitting Kit.

    Are these reusable?

Hi, are the little cushions and box liners reusable? If I were to use them for a pair and then that pair died and I got a new pair, would they still be OK for reuse? Thanks,

Yes they should still be usable. - Mindty (08/06/2015)

    Sizing?

Hi, I saw that you wrote on a previous reply for this product the following: "The sizing on this item is sized for the BOX sizes for the Gaynor Minden #2 Slightly Tapered, #3 Narrow and Tapered, #4 Broad and Square" Is this right, for the #2 and #3 boxes? Because the sizing indicates the opposite and I just wanted to make sure I'm getting the right thing! Thanks!

The #2 box ( Narrow) would be a size small. The #3 box (slightly tapered) would be a size medium.

    sizing?

i wear Gaynor Minden's box #3, but also I wear their Narrow size! I see here that you have listed #2 narrow and #3 medium...if I order the #3 medium will it be different that what my shoe is (Since i'm #3 narrow) ? I don't think the narrow/medium sizing has much to do with the box, but I thought I would ask.

The sizing on this item is sized for the BOX sizes for the Gaynor Minden #2 Slightly Tapered, #3 Narrow and Tapered, #4 Broad and Square

I also wear a narrow size with a box #3 and the cushion kit in Medium/#3 box is perfect. - Carinthecity (05/22/2013)

Yes, if you order a medium fit it will be slightly wider especially in the area around the metatarsal bones(around the vamp area of the shoe/right before the ball of your foot), at the widest part of your foot, where it's important to have the proper fit so that you are held up out of the box. The number for the box works mostly with the platform size and the area around the tip of the shoe, where your toe shape effects the fit mostly. I have a foot that is wider en flat, but it's compressible so I wear a 8 M box 3 and it fits nice and gives me room to feel snug when I'm rolling through Demi, and don't have huge gaps at the vamp area that look sloppy. - Rarasaurous (06/16/2014)
